AusIndustry administers the products Automotive Competitiveness and Investment Scheme (ACIS), Tradex, Enhanced Project By-laws Scheme (EPBS) and Certain Inputs to Manufacture (CIM) in which customers are issued with instruments to be used within the Customs Integrated Cargo system (ICS).
AusIndustry does not provide the Digital Signature Certificate or maintain the PIN number that is provided to access ICS. For customers that may be experiencing problems with accessing the Integrated Cargo System (ICS) it is recommended that they ensure they have followed the correct procedures and have read the information as provided on the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service website.

This is a comprehensive site which provides a clear step by step process of how to access the ICS including registering for the Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) which is purchased through and issued by Verisign. If customers have been issued with the Digital Signature Certificate and are experiencing problems accessing the ICS, they should contact the Customs and Border Protection Helpdesk on 1800 022 267 and choose 'Option 1' when directed by the voicemail.

Instrument Security Codes (ISC) for ACIS
ACIS customers are issued with Import Credit Numbers (ICN) which provides import credits. Additionally ACIS ICNs are issued with an Instrument Security Code (ISC) which is a 4 digit alpha-numeric number which is to be used when transferring credits in the ICS. For existing ACIS customers the ISC (or PIN) is to remain the same as was issued for use with the Customs Compile system.
