Description: EOAP is administered by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service on behalf of the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.
EOAP enabled participants to assemble certain goods overseas from predominantly Australian fabric and leather. The assembled goods can then be imported for local consumption, with duty payable only on the cost of overseas processing and content. All exports and imports under the Scheme must have been cleared through Customs and entered into Australia prior to 1 July 2010.
