- From 1 July 2011 the LPG Vehicle Scheme will be capped at 25,000 eligible claims paid in a year (1 July to 30 June) for the duration of the scheme.

Application Forms, along with certified copies of supporting documents, should be lodged in person at any Medicare Office or Centrelink Customer Service Centre, or posted to:

For completed applications lodged over the counter at any Medicare Office or Centrelink Customer Service Centre, your supporting documents will be copied and certified and the originals returned to you.
For postal applications, please DO NOT provide original supporting documents. Certified copies of supporting documents must be provided. See the Customer Guidelines for who can certify.
Applicants must ensure that the postal applications are received by the LPG Processing Unit within 12 months from the date of the LPG conversion or new LPG vehicle purchase.
Lodging your application DOES NOT automatically entitle you to receive a grant.
